Dr. Laura Crawley is a practicing veterinarian and veterinary writer based in Connecticut. Both in hospital and in writing her mission is to educate pet parents and equip veterinary professionals with the knowledge they need to provide the best care possible for their pets and patients. 

 

As a writer she draws on over 13 years of clinical experience to create trustworthy, medically accurate, easy-to-understand writing that engages the reader and makes you a trusted source for information. 

 

Dr. Crawley is a graduate of St. George’s University, where she received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM). Prior to vet school her deep love of science set her on the path that resulted in a double science major, attaining B.S. degrees in both Biology and Biological Sciences.  

 

She lives with her fiancé and their Scottish Terrier Gus. When she’s not in hospital or writing she enjoys kayaking, traveling, and photography- especially when there are cute animals involved!
